Improvement Champion

“Individuals” Making the Difference!

Candidates in NQI LEP® can build momentum on their organization’s excellence journey by encouraging their excellence team members to become Improvement Champions.

The Improvement Champion recognition is available to anyone in your organization. 

The recognition is focused on awareness of quality tools and techniques. To be recognized, candidates must complete a selection of courses from NQI LEP®.  

Required Courses:

• All About Excellence –  6 hours Game Based Learning
• Quest for Quality: Process Improvement Tools (Modules 1, 2, & 3)
• Implementation Overview Course  (Quality, Healthy Workplace or Integrated) 1-day In-house
• Organizational Excellence Assessment – 2-days

Highlights of What you will Learn:

• Definition of Quality
• Scope of Framework for Excellence
• Awareness of NQI PEP® - Quality
• 8 Principles of Excellence
• Various Process Tools including Process Mapping
• Process Gap Analysis
• Project by Project Continuous Improvement

Time Commitment:

• 5 days in class
• 6 hours of Game Based Learning
• Estimated 4-8 hours to complete the Quest for Quality Assignment

After the completion of all the required courses, candidates will receive a certificate designating their status as an “Improvement Champion"
